Hello, I'm 18 weeks pregnant and a migraine sufferer. Prior to getting pregnant I would get a bad migraine probably once a month but would suffer more frequent headaches. I was on preventative and could generally manage them with over the counter painkillers. Since being pregnant I've been suffering so much more.. I'm having at least 3 days a week with either a headache or full blown migraine. My headache is sometimes just a dull ache, like a band around my head. Worse when bending etc. I've had a lot of morning sickness which does tend to be worse when I do have a headache. Sometimes it develops into a migraine and I have to go to bed and paracetamol does nothing. I'm a really anxious person generally and wondered whether anyone else is suffering with anything similar?! My blood pressure and bloods are fine when they have been checked. Thanks

I had this as well I also previously suffered with migraines that got worse in pregnancy I'm 34 weeks now and they seem to have stopped around 30 weeks. There wasn't much I could do about them other than have paracetamol and sleep. Although if they do get to bad and frequent I think you can get stronger pain killers from the drs. Also they started affecting my vision which I hadn't had before and my midwife said if it happened again to contact triage as they may want to do a blood test to check for other stuff.

Good luck I hope you feel better soon
