Hi!

Has anyone purchased their own TENS machine? If so, where did you purchase it from? I am currently preparing for my birth and would like to buy one in preparation Smile

Thanks! Xx

I bought this one from Boots & it worked well

https://www.boots.com/health-pharmacy/electrical-health-diagnostics/tens-machines/babycare-elle-tens-digital-purple-white-10047343

Batteries were included which was useful!

They do own brand ones too.

Good luck!! Smile

I bought one off eBay which broke after half a day! The next morning my husband went to boots and bought one in this pic but I see it is sold out online.

I had a Boots one which worked really well in my first labour. I got it out the cupboard because I've been suffering from back pain and it died after one day! But in fairness it is 4 years since I had my first son. I got another one from Amazon which was more expensive (more like £60-70) and I think it is better. But if you're only going to use it in labour it's possibly not worth the extra cost.

PS Buy extra pads! I was in labour for over 24 hours and I was really sweaty (labour... in June... gross, I know) so they kept falling off.

Thank you @newmumfeb21 @Horehound for the Boots recommendations, I shall take a look at those Smile

@mamababy1955555 Would you be able to send me the link for the one you purchased on Amazon? Thank you for the extra pads tip! Grin

It's this one - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000A1QKGM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8

You don't need to buy matching pads - generic ones are fine.
