Hi, sorry for the way too much info.
I've been spotting on and off for about 2 weeks now. I'm 12+1 and have my scan on Thurs.
It seems to be worse and sometimes only there when I do a poo. Today it was a little more red but I've had pink brown and red and it's only enough to wipe.
I've managed to reassure myself so far but my anxiety is keeping me awake now 😔
I have rang the maternity when it first started and they just told me to keep an eye but didn't seem concerned.

Just looking for some reassurance until Thursday

Bleeding in pregnancy is very common. I had an extremely heavy bleed that last two weeks with my second. I was convinced I was losing him. Turned out he was fine and i was just bleeding. Keeping everything crossed for you. Have you had any cramps or pain?

worrybutterfly · 18/04/2021 21:07

I had the same on Friday.

12+6 went to the loo and had bright red blood continued by light bleeding for an hour afterwards. Stopped overnight and then had it again the next morning after I did a poo (but definitely blood from my vagina).

I managed to get a scan on Saturday and everything looked fine. The scan showed a healthy foetus and no clear explanation for the bleeding.

Fingers crossed for you. Daffodil

Hope you're feeling ok, I had bleeding with my first from 7-8 weeks - red blood, enough to need a liner. All was well, it was a SCH and he's now asleep in the other room x

Aww I'm so pleased yours turned out OK. My fingers are very crossed.
I've had no cramps or pain. I get a feeling like a I can feel something sometimes, it's very weird. Not sure if it's normal but it's reassuring. I also don't have any other symptoms other than being over emotional 😅

Fingers crossed op. I had bleeding with my at the same stage and on and off throughout the first two trimesters. She is now tucked up in bed. I hope you get reassuring news on Thursday. Do ring your midwife back even if you just want some more advice, they won't mind.

Thank you all so much for replying. I'm so happy that you all had positive stories!

@worrybutterfly did you have any more after that? I'm so glad you mentioned the poo thing as I think I'm losing it when I say it out loud.

Thursdays only a few days away 🤞

Nope, none since Saturday morning.

On another thread with a similar situation someone said you can get a polyp on your cervix that bleeds when you strain.
