Hi Guys

Had a scan last Thursday as I have been having them every two weeks due to the baby measuring small and I have gestational diabetis. Currently 36 weeks.

Was told in the scan that the baby was lying transverse and they saw the bloody flow to the placenta being low. The PI value was 1.06, 1.17 and 1.26, according to my notes.

When I saw the midwife and consultant after the scan they were really concerned and wanted me to be admitted to hospitial, but after not wanting to be admitted I had another consultant who said it would be fine to stay at home and come in for a scan on Monday, to which I agreed to, but be prepared to be admitted.

I am just asking if anyone else has had a situation like this and had to be admitted? I'm hoping the baby would of moved, but I wasn't sure if I would be admitted to for the blood flow to placenta.

Thank you!
