Just curious to know what other's experience has been of gestation periods. My daughter was born 37+5 at a very healthy 7lb5. I'm now 38 weeks with our son. Still very early days I know, but I can't help feeling a bit demoralised as I was hoping we'd meet him a similar time, and I'm worried how much bigger he'll be too.

If your subsequent births were later, how much later? And were they much bigger?

I'm walking like crazy and eating all the dates - but no signals whatsoever. He just seems very comfy!

No, earlier. Second and subsequent babies are normally earlier. Hopefully in your case not too much earlier :)

I was 37+5 and went into labour spontaneously. I was 39+1 with my second, also spontaneous. Both were the same weight.

DC1- 40+6 7lb5oz
DC2- 40+6 8lb5oz
DC3- 40+3 7lb8oz
Currently 35+3 with DC4

DS1 - 36+3 weeks (spontaneous). 6lb 6oz
DD2 - 39+6. 7lb 13oz
Currently 38+5 with DD1 and despite a lot of twinges recently, labour seems to still be very far away 😰
