Heartburn?

I’m 15 weeks pregnant and have been getting what I thought was heartburn as I’ve read it’s a comment symptom. I’ve only ever had it when laid down in bed at night. I described to my boyfriend how it felt and he says it sounds nothing like heartburn which has worried me. It’s more of a sharp pain in my left side, rather than a burning feeling which is constant.

I have a heart condition which is monitored regularly (it’s never given me any problems so pain) so I waiting for a call back from the doctor but just wondered if anyone else has had sharp pains rather than burning?

I get quite a painful ache in my left shoulder blade but I’m not sure if I’d describe it as a sharp pain.

I got some sharp pains in my breast but not my heart or chest.
Heartburn to me feels like a lump in my chest that no matter how much water I drink just won’t go away.
Could it be acid reflux- that is a burning pain and because it stomach acid rising you might be feeling it elsewhere other than your throat.

I've been experiencing severe heartburn almost from week 3 - now week 13.
I have been taking Gaviscon upon advice of doctor and pharmacist. Maybe a way to see if your pains are heartburn related is to take some Gaviscon and see if it has any effect on the pain?

At night I also get pains in my side when I try to turn over sometimes but they don't last long.
