So I’m currently on my 5th pregnancy after 4 miscarriages. I’m either 5+3 or 5+6 (LMP & Ovulation date give different results).
On Friday 9th April I had a sharp cramp in my left side followed with dizziness and nausea. I went to the hospital who referred me to the EPU. I had a scan on Monday 12th and it turns out I have a corpus luteum cyst, which explains the weird pain, but shouldn’t really be dangerous or a problem for baby. Gestational sac was visible and measuring normal.
I came home thinking I was in the clear and everything was fine, then on Thursday 15th I came home from work and had really light bleeding Thursday night and yesterday and it’s still happening today. I also had some bad back cramping on and off on Friday, but not consistently. It’s so light, it’s basically spotting. I’ve had a pad on and there’s nothing really on it.
I’ve got another scan at the EPU on Monday, but obviously I’m nervous. In my previous miscarriages they were never like this, they were intense abdominal cramps followed by light bleeding that became heavy over a couple of hours.
I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before and how things turned out for you? This doesn’t feel anything like my previous miscarriages, but obviously I’m worried.
