Hi everyone,
I've been prescribed Prochlorperazine today for morning sickness. I had been on cyclizine but that didn't seem to do a thing for me!
Today I've managed to keep the sickness at bay by eating bland foods regularly however, these new tablets knocked me out!
Do you get used to the drowsiness? Will it wear off? I'm wanting to be able to be fit enough to work but I can't work if I'm being put to sleep by my medication!

Thanks for any experiences.

unfortunately there's not much that you can do while on these tablets. I suffered with morning sickness start of my pregnancy and fortunately enough I work in a pharmacy also. these anti sickness tablets' most common side effects are drowsiness as it relaxes your muscles fighting the urge to make you want to throw up. i'm glad these tablets are keeping the sickness at bay for you. you never really get used to the drowsiness but it is something that your job should be aware of because of course you don't want to stop taking them. It's better to be a little tired than not be there at all due to being sick. Your job should make your workplace easier for you in these circumstances and basically keep an eye on you, it will be in their pregnancy risk assessment. Other than that mama, it's struggling until it finally buggers off ☹️
