What so your HCG level is 0 from docs?
I’m confused too!

NamechangerSince2010 · 16/04/2021 18:02

Those are all positive.

GP tests are notoriously rubbish.
Congratulations?!

Lejla2021 · 16/04/2021 18:31

Well their pregnancy test came back negative they didnt draw bloods. Not sure why. They are so rude at the early pregnancy unit😑 i asked for one but she said no even tho i showed her my test she said Those are probably false positive 😑🤯

Literally all positive tests! Surely they can’t ALL be false positives!
I’d say yes definitely pregnant OP xXx

kirinm · 16/04/2021 18:33

Why did you go to the EPU? I'd be very surprised if you aren't pregnant with those tests but it would be very early days so maybe their tests just aren't sensitive enough?

Lejla2021 · 16/04/2021 18:37

I went cause i felt really strong cramps since i tested positive and i had a miscarriage in December so was worried. And thats when she said i wasn't pregnant and that those tests either are false or it was a chemical. But would a chemical turn them all positive 🤔
OP posts:
PinkCookie11 · 16/04/2021 18:40

Surely all them wouldn’t come back positive if you actually weren’t! I would keep testing every two days. Can you work out how far you are?

Lejla2021 · 16/04/2021 18:42

Would be still very early about 4-5wks

OP posts:
mamahoo · 16/04/2021 18:53

Have you taken some more tests today?

How rude of that lady! Even if she thought it might be a chemical or a false positive, there is a way to say it to someone who has previously had a miscarriage and is worried! What a cow.

They certainly all look like you're pregnant!!

Lejla2021 · 16/04/2021 18:57

Mamahoo thats exactly what i thought we've been trying for 5 years i have never ever had a positive digital pregnancy test not even when i had my miscarriage in December. I was totally in tears. If she would have drawn blood I'd know by know what's going on.

OP posts:
Lejla2021 · 16/04/2021 18:58

Mamahoo yes ive taken a cheapie came back positive aswel.

kirinm · 16/04/2021 20:11

I think you're just early and their tests aren't as sensitive. Some EPUs are really kind others seem off hand and dismissive in my experience. Sounds like you got the latter.

Chelyanne · 16/04/2021 20:23

Those are all positive but faint so probably quite early. If you're experiencing a chemical home tests will go negative again. All you can do atm is play the waiting game, if you are still testing positive over the next 2 weeks then get referred to the midwife team.
Good luck

PinkCookie11 · 16/04/2021 20:26

Agree with others it is very early.
Keep testing and I have my fingers crossed for you!

Lejla2021 · 16/04/2021 20:32

Thank you everyone the amount of understanding all of you have shown has made me feel definitely better many thanks. Xxx

I never had a doctors test they just accepted because I was! Didn't have any blood tests till my 12 week scan!

Kristenalshami123 · 17/04/2021 01:31

I am 12 or 13 dpo I took a cb line test yesterday day and it was positive. Took another one this morning and it was negative. Then came home and took a first response and it was negative. I also took dollar tree ones and they are positive. I'm so confused. Someone please help me has this ever happened before to anyone. AF is due either tomorrow or Sunday.

noonieroonie · 17/04/2021 03:56

I had a chemical and had positive tests for almost 3 weeks. Doctors were ridiculously dismissive and rude and couldn't wait to get me out the room. Id say to test again in a few days/next week and see if the digital progresses. Mine never went past 2-3 weeks. Fingers crossed it all works out for you (and you get seen by a better GP next time!)

Lejla2021 · 18/04/2021 08:37

@noonieroonie mine stayed positive for 4 days 2 mornings of positive clearblue 1-2weeks and numerous positive line test. But after 4 days i saw the line get lighter to a points where its negative now. But i have brown like mucus coming. When i wipe not sure what that is. And im not bleeding. Shouldn't i be bleeding after a miscarriage? Or does it not work that way with a chemical pregnancy 🤔. Also does progesterone help with avoiding a chemical pregnancy? What is the actual cause of this ive had it now 2 times and im so sick of it now.. is there anything i could ask my gp to help me with? Many thanks in advance xxx

@Kristenalshami123 hi, sounds like your having what I'm having a chemical pregnancy with so much confusion i didnt even know this was a thing. I waited for that test to turn positive 5 years yet its a scam or something 😕

OP posts:
savethewales · 18/04/2021 08:46

Sorry this is happening to you. Most places won’t help with miscarriages until you’ve experienced three (rubbish I know!) but how early are you testing?
Chemical pregnancies are really cruel but I’m not sure there’s anything you can do to stop them happening x

Lejla2021 · 18/04/2021 09:11

@savethewales hi. Should have been around 5 weeks now. It just takes away all the hope what was the point of trying so long and then finally when it happened ota false alarm. Just taking a toll in the emotional side of things.

OP posts:
Chelyanne · 18/04/2021 09:29

Nothing you can do to prevent a chemical or most other miscarriages unfortunately.
All the chemicals I've had I test positive for a while then they go negative and af turns up 1-2 weeks later than expected.
They are very frustrating but it doesn't mean you'll not fall pregnant with a successful embryo so hold on to hope and keep trying. Good luck.

Lejla2021 · 18/04/2021 09:44

@chelyanne yes that what i have exprienced last time i had a chemical pregnancy. Hope is all i got right now. many thanks for your supportive words xx
