Can I take pregnacare conception and folic acid 5mg together does anyone know please?

Pregnacare has got everything in it that you need so you don't need to take anything else or extras. Unless you've been prescribed a higher dose from the gp or midwife don't take anything else

I take a pregnancy multivitamin and 5mg folic acid as my consultant told me to do this for the duration of my pregnancy.

Yes you can. Pregnancare has 0.4mg folic acid in it, less than 1/12 of a prescribed 5mg dose so a drop in the ocean really. I was told by my midwife to take both.

Ok fab they prescribed me 5mg folic acid after I lost my first then continued to take but lost the second started pregnacare max whilst pregnant on third but lost again so on pregnacare conception now just didn't know whether to take both. Thank you x
