Hi, for anyone who’s had a growth scan - how quickly did they manage to get you booked in? Thanks

When I needed a growth scan they got me in within an hour and they where waiting for me to arrive at reception.

I always say to my friends, if they booking one for advance on a few days then try not to worry and it’s more of a check up. I didn’t realise at the time we had special treatment, they have didnt grades of referral.

Most people I know had a growth scan within a few days once referred.

Omg that makes no sense....hopefully you can work out what I’m saying 😂🤣

Midwife referred me on weds. Had the scan on the Saturday. Tbh thought it'd have been sooner.

Had a follow up one after I'd gone in for some other checks. That was around 2.5 weeks after the first growth scan so that was a while longer but I suppose so they could compare.

I nearly didn't have the second growth scan by the way so you may not necessarily have two, depending on the first result.

My Midwife said they commit to seeing you within 3 days. I don't know if this is national though or varies by trust. I was referred on Friday afternoon and scanned on Tuesday evening.

Within 48 hours at my hospital, I've always had a call the next day for an appointment that afternoon though
