Hi all! We got a lots of second hand toys id like to clean. Any good tips? Some are plastic which is easy but also got things like teddy's, comforters in cloth, some knitted toys, and also books in various materials (plastic cloth and cardboard). Any ideas on how to best sanitise them?

Plastic stuff can be wipe over with a cloth with some hot soapy water.

Cuddly toys can go in a plastic bag in the freezer for 48 hours.

Cloth can be washed in the washing machine.

Paper/card - no idea. Quarantine it?

Teddies can go in the washing machine, I'd put them in with disinfectant. Same for cloth.
Plastic could go in some Milton or the dishwasher.
The card would be wiped down with an antibacterial wipe and left in the sunshine.

Teddies/soft toys in the washing machine. Even if it says not to.

If they look like they've got bits that might come loose outthem in a pillow case or laundry bag first.

Seriously, anything that can't survive the washing machine is no good - a damp cloth isn't going to cut it if they're sick on it or whatever.
