Suffer with IBS and had Brown Discharge..Help

I suffer with IBS and so I'm having lots of wind type feelings in my stomach with slight aches. These are normal symptoms of IBS yet I've had some very light brown discharge and so contacted my local EPFA Unit who gave me a scan and said they can't see the heart beat..I'm 6 weeks pregnant. They said it could be to early to see so I have to wait now and go back in a week for another scan. Really worried as have had a miscarrige before. I have got one child already. Any advice would be great should I stay at home and rest?

try not to worry, 6 weks is very early to see a heartbeat. did the pg look normal apart from that? i'm sure they would have said if not. also brown discharge means old blood so could have been remains of implantation bleed. btw i had similar at start of this pg and am now typing with sleeping 3 day old bub in my arms so really try not to worry
