I'd do another test.

Titch1993 · 14/04/2021 15:11

I'd test again tomorrow to be sure but it does look positive. Mine was like that with both DS1 and 2. Finally got dark lines in afternoon at around 14dpo. (Negative test in morning...)

Elshu · 14/04/2021 15:23

Great thanks but what does DS1 mean please x

I see something!

steppemum · 14/04/2021 15:29

DS stands for dear son, so
DD is dear daughter and
DH is dear husband.

It gets a bit confusing!

Titch1993 · 14/04/2021 15:36

So Sorry, as @steppemum said dear son. I've only just learnt all the terms myself! Grin

Elshu · 14/04/2021 15:42

Thank you x

Really I only had sex two weeks ago x

@Elshu to be honest I think they are both negative but fingers crossed and keep us posted. Try a FRER tomorrow morning.

SmidgenofaPigeon · 14/04/2021 15:48

I can’t see anything.

Lou98 · 14/04/2021 15:48

The first test looks invalid to me, it looks like a run of colour rather than a positive line but it is hard to tell. I can't see anything on the second one, sorry.

If it's only been 2 weeks since you had sex though you may not have ovulated until after that so may just be too early. Do you know when you ovulated?

Elshu · 14/04/2021 15:48

Isn’t a line a line ?

OP posts:
mamatocaptainchaos · 14/04/2021 15:50

I can't see anything on last one maybe try in morning

SmidgenofaPigeon · 14/04/2021 15:51

There might be something on the first but I really can’t see anything on the second. When is your period due?

Lou98 · 14/04/2021 15:54

@Elshu

Isn’t a line a line ?

A line is a line in the sense of it doesn't matter if it's a faint line or a really strong line, it's usually still a positive. But sometimes tests can be invalid where the line is in the wrong place and it could be from the dye soaking through or a colour run (just as examples) or evaporation lines (although these usually don't have colour) in which case it would be a "false positive".

I'm not saying that's the case with yours as it is hard to see in the photo but to me it looks as if the line isn't in the right place and a colour run rather than a positive line.

Test again in the morning with FMU (first morning urine) if you can. I always found with the strip tests it was easier to pee in to a cup or something and dip the test in rather than pee directly on to the test

Folklore9074 · 14/04/2021 16:32

Sorry, I can't see anything either... maybe try give it a few days and try again?

4PawsGood · 14/04/2021 16:33

Aren’t green ones ovulation strips rather than pregnancy tests?

Wagsandclaws · 14/04/2021 16:34

They look like Evaps to me sorry, I'd try again tomorrow with a frer 🤷‍♀️

SmidgenofaPigeon · 14/04/2021 16:35

@4PawsGood is says HCG which is pregnancy hormone.

Elshu · 14/04/2021 16:38

Only cheap ones

Ok

OP posts:
Chanel05 · 14/04/2021 16:41

I'm sorry but I also think that they are evaps. A bfp is a thin, sharp line.

Blossomandbee · 14/04/2021 16:42

Not sure if my eyes are picking up something very faint on the second test. The first one looks like a blotch from the dye.
I'd try again with a better test like a First Response

4PawsGood · 14/04/2021 16:47
