Bleeding at 8 weeks

Hi all just looking for some reassurance as I'm panicking a little. I had a private scan on Sunday which dated me at 8+2, everything was fine and we saw a strong heartbeat. I've just been to the loo & have bright red bleeding when I wipe. I've had 2 previous losses so I'm really upset now & just hoping it's not happening again

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hello... i had that at 6 weeks or so.. i decided to rest for a couple of days and it helped. after 2 days it stopped. i rested an extra day just to seal the deal. I would advice a call to the gyno though, just to be on the safe side

@FemaleLady thank you for your reply, I'm going to the midwife for my bloods tomorrow so I will ask when I'm there

I had this with both mine. I had a subchoronic haematoma. I had a huge bleed at 9 weeks with both.

There was no pain with the bleeds. It was scary though.

I got told to lie on your left side and rest after each one

@Twizbe thank you, I'm off work tomorrow so will rest as much as I can. When did they pick up your haematoma? It wasn't mentioned as a possibility on my scan on Sunday

I think with my son it was at 9 weeks but wasn't seen at the scan I had at 6 weeks (also because I was bleeding) but at the 9 week one it was small as it had mostly resolved with the big bleed.

I don't remember with my daughter. I know the big bleed was at 9 weeks but we were on holiday... think I'd been scanned before that
