Hello,

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and have been getting these kicks low down in what feels my vagina to the point I've actually thought baby was trying to escape or put a foot out.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and never experienced to this extent before. Is this normal?

Only way to describe it is that really uncomfortable and feels like a foot coming through. Weird!! Makes me worry my cervix is maybe weak?

Thanks all, xxx

It's normal if a bit shocking at first lol

My very low down vag kicker had to be forcibly removed at 41 wks lol. I thought I was def going early too 😆 It was my first baby so I was frantically googling but I didn't have it with my second and I'm sure it settled down but I totally get the it feels like a foot is going to pop out down below lol.

This is only my first baby so nothing to compare it to but I've been getting the same since about 25 weeks and I'm 34 weeks now! Definitely feels like they're trying to dig their way out haha😂

Thanks so much ladies, my goodness it's definitely a bit shocking. I've had a few where I actually lay down after as felt like she was burrowing out!!!

Must be the babies position as def have never had it before. I was starting to panic!!

What a weird sensation and definitely not lightning crotch, more like punch crotch 🤣🤣

Totally normal! Im on number 3 (26 weeks) and had this with all 3. Mine are normally short and sharp rather than prolonged but my goodness do they make you sit up quick sharp!

My now 5 year old used to do this to me when I was pregnant with her. She particularly hated being in shopping centres for some reason so used to do it harder then.

My current 29 week pregnancy baby hasn't done it yet 🤞

Ahhh this is helpful to read. I have a cervix kicker, 4th baby and never had it before. I honestly think she's trying to escape.

Very normal. Mine does it too, she still has loads of room to change position atm (22wk).
