Hey everyone! I'm 12 weeks pregnant, this is my first child, however I can't seem to stop being sick, I can't eat or drink much without bringing it up again, I've tried contacting midwife and she isn't picking up, gp told me I had to go through midwife as it will take longer through them, just wondering if anyone had any tips of tricks? Thanks in advance.😊

I’ve never heard about having to go through midwife for anti sickness medication? Isn’t that what the GP is meant to deal with? There are a variety of anti sickness meds that can help, don’t leave it any longer and get back down the phone to GP and demand something. Don’t let anyone fob you off x

The midwife isn't able to prescribe anti-sickness medication, I had to go through the GP for mine.

I find drinking ice cold water helps mine settle sometimes.

I'd phone the GP back OP. Your midwife won't prescribe anything. Maybe ask to speak to someone else within the practice?
