Hcg 45 at 4 weeks

Decided to stop the pregnancy tests as it with doing no good for me stressing. Got referred to EPU had my first bloods done today and they are 45. She told me not to worry as it's not abnormal and aslong as I will be minimum 80 on Wednesday when I have my next ones then I can have early scan when I reach 1500. But after reading about other levels mine seems so ridiculously low and now I'm just more stressed 🙈 has anyone had any success stories with low hcg? I know can't tell much till second bloods but just looking for small Hope really

Hey I’m 4 weeks too, my GP did My bloods on Friday...Rang me and said “it appears you’re pregnant” i forgot to ask what the number was because it all came as a bit of a shock as it wasn’t a planned pregnancy but I think she’s ringing me tomorrow so I could ask her what mine was. 45 doesn’t seem low though to me at 4weeks, the urine pregnancy tests lines for me aren’t really dark yet and they pick up from hcg 25 isn’t it? At 4 weeks people are only just getting their positive urine dips xx

Hey fab news for you 😊 I've had 2 chemical pregnancies so it's stressing me out that it will happen again. Yeah they pick up 25mlu I had my first positive 10 days ago was very faint and the line has gone darker but I'm under the assumption it should be way more than 45 after 10 days of doubling x

I took the early test so was 10 mlu

At 4+4 my hcg was 19 I was told probably a failed pregnancy
But he was fine !

A few years back mine were 77 at just before 5 weeks, it’s definitely the doubling they look for. My numbers were so much lower when I was pregnant with my son then with my daughter so I was convinced at the time that something must be wrong as I compared the numbers to my pregnancy with her, everything worked out ok though.

It’s so hard not to worry, I hope everything is ok. I have been through the bad news too so totally understand the worry x

If it implanted 10 days ago it’s only meant to double every 3days isn’t it? So that would be fine 😁

At 4+4 my hcg was 19 I was told probably a failed pregnancy But he was fine !

My numbers were so much lower when I was pregnant with my son then with my daughter so I was convinced at the time that something must be wrong as I compared the numbers to my pregnancy with her, everything worked out ok though.

That's how I feel I'm just convinced it's happening all over again. I have read that boys have less hcg than girls so could be true. Really hoping they double. Thank you x

I had HCG bloods at 4 weeks and they were 89.9 which still indicates a positive but considered low and I was told the outlook wasn't great based on this but the important thing is the doubling.
Apparently the range for this stage is 9.5-750 so a huge variance!

48hrs later they'd dropped to 52 though so I've been told it's a non viable pregnancy.

I should be 5 weeks 4 days today.
Still testing positive but not sure what to do now.
It was an IVF pregnancy and the clinic have said to just sit and wait for the bleeding basically

I am sorry it's awful! Can be so cruel can't it. It's not just as easy as pregnant or not pregnant isit, it's the after that too. I never realised the complications or how any of it worked obviously until it happened to me. Wish it was more straight forward for people x

They do say every 2-3 days yeah but I just can't imagine or see this going well 🙈 hate being so negative but it's reality xx

I’m negative too, also the gp was asking me if I had any pains and if I did to go epu I was like why? She went “incase it’s ectopic, just like anyone else” ...I should of asked her the number shouldn’t I 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ll ring in morning x

Yeah they asked me about pain too. Ectopic is slow rising hcg so maybe that a common cause for it.. hopefully not would hate any complications to try again xx

I just rang the gps and spoke to receptionist and asked what my number was, she had a look couldn’t find the number in my notes 😂 I said oh it doesn’t matter I don’t want to waste the GPs time and get an appt. Duno where I go from here now 🤷‍♀️ Epu was meant to ring to book me in for another blood test but they haven’t

@EXA1912 ring the hospital and ask them to put you through to epu and ask them. I've woke up today and had like brown discharge I think I will start bleeding soon 😞

Oh no, try not to panic might be ok still. Brown blood is old blood which is usually ok. I did a pregnancy test this morning but they aren’t getting any darker x

When is your next blood test? X

Mine was exactly the same the last 3 times never get any darker maybe just slightly and then I'll mc. Tomorrow morning are my next ones. It's so frustrating xx

Maybe I’ll miscarry too cz mine aren’t darker and hcg must have been really low the other day x

I just did a clear blue and it came up pregnant 2-3 weeks which is what I am, have u tried one of them? X

Yeah last one was Sunday it's 1/2 for a reading of 2/3 your hcg got to be 153 xx

When would you be 2-3 weeks pregnant? When did u ovulate?

I ovulated last positive was 24th March but my levels are low so not gonna think too much of it xx

My gp just rang and asked why I haven’t had another blood test yet....I was like they never rang me. She told me I need to ring them and book in for one....rang them and going on Friday which is a week since my last one...is that normal?
