Hi everyone.
I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and feeling absolutely aweful.
Would love to hear any recommendation from others that help nausea and sickness?
Is there medication for it?
Thanks so much x

I was the same from 6-12 weeks but feel so much better now at 13 weeks, so just letting you know it does get better!

I think you can request anti sickness tablets from GP/midwife but I didn't end up doing, I just ate a completely beige diet for 6 weeks because it's all I could manage! Biscuits, Crisps, McDonalds...

Try and rest as much as possible x

Definitely speak to ur GP and don’t suffer in silence, there are medicines out there to help x

You might need to push for it. Some places are a bit reluctant to give it out, but make sure you do.

Thank you for making me aware of that Smile

I felt awful too (I’m 15 weeks and still
A bit nauseous but it is better). I got cyclazine after my booking in appt that did help with sickness but made me so sleepy! I’ve also found fizzy water or ginger ale as well as sipping boiled sweets helped a lot.

Just eat whatever you can and get lots of rest :)

TheFamousMrEd · 12/04/2021 14:58

Sucking boiled sweets obviously 🙄

Would really recommend travel sickness bands. They don't take it away completely but they do help. That and tablets from the doctor. I have been sick in all my pregnancies, hypermesis in the first and couldn't function without medication.
