I had that feeling a bit later at 7 weeks but I have heard of it happening to other people very early on

I'm about 7 weeks OP and I felt exactly like this from about 4-6 weeks. I was so worried and convinced it was going to end in miscarriage as I really didn't remember that feeling from my previous pregnancies! However I think everything is ok - it's settled down now and I have a ton of other symptoms plus no severe cramping or bleeding. I did read online that early pregnancy can mimic pms symptoms due to the same hormones being present. Fingers crossed all is ok for you!

Thanks I don’t remember this with any of my previous pregnancies either. I’m not very positive about this one though I’m not expecting it to work out for some reason x

I was so convinced my period was coming that I didn’t want to test because I thought it would be negative and my period was just messing with me. DH made me test otherwise I probably wouldn’t have tested until quite a bit later as my very early symptoms were just gas and bloating. I’d had cramps for about 5 days before I had the positive pregnancy test but I didn’t test early. I’m now 8 weeks and I’ve had cramps everyday since with some intense cramps and shooting pains last week I think. I rang the EPAU and they aren’t concerned. The cramps are easing up a bit now. Everything seems to be going well at the minute but I’ve not had any scans yet. The midwife said it’s because everything is shifting around in preparation of being shoved out of the way by a growing baby.

Thanks @justhereforthecraic I have 3 babies already and I just feel because everything went well with them and they were all born happy and healthy it’s bound to not with this one and I almost feel undeserving of another healthy baby xx

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with baby no 3 and I had quite strong period like cramps since the beginning up until week 8/9. It was worrying but had an early scan which showed a healthy baby and cramping stopped at 9 weeks. I was also told I had a small cyst on my left ovary which will most probably disappear itself and might cause discomfort. In previous pregnancies I didn't have such pains early on.
