So I know that Father’s Day is a way off yet but I saw something on tv the other day that made me think about it.
I am 17 weeks pregnant with my partners first and only baby.
He’s super excited, and going to be an incredible dad.
He’s been just amazing throughout our entire relationship and even more so since I fell pregnant. We’ve been through several losses together and he’s been my absolute rock.
I’m sure some might not necessarily agree with giving a gift on Father’s Day before baby is here but I really do want to give him something. Not only is he an amazing step dad to my children from a previous relationship, but he’s of course already a dad to this much loved baby.
I’ve googled gifts for dads to be etc and most of it is baby vests with writing on, or key rings with a scan pic etc. We’ve experienced lots of scans together so I’m not sure a scan pic on a key ring is all that special (to us).
I just wondered if anyone else has thought about things like this yet, and if so what ideas have you come up with?
The only things my partner is really into is football and cycling, so I had thought about getting a little football top or babygrow of the team he supports with either baby’s name (we have it picked) or surname on it.
