Cervix/vagina pain at 17 weeks - normal???

I'm 17 weeks, this is my first pregnancy. Over the last couple of days I have had some sharp twinges at what I guess is my cervix, or upper vagina. Not painful exactly, as the twinges don't last long, but uncomfortable. Could this be the baby using my cervix as a trampoline? (I have felt a few flutters up to now, but couldn't be convinced they were the baby moving)
Being the paranoid thing I am, I am worried that this is a symptom of incompetent cervix - do you get symptoms with this?
Any advice gratefully received, many thanks

I had this intermittently throughout both my pregnancies. I never asked anyone about it so don't really know what it was all about, but it didn't seem to be a problem. Both my babies were born very health at 37 weeks.

Ive been getting this since about 20w and am now 26w. Are they like shooting pains up inside your vagina? My MW said that there probably braxton hicks and not to worry. They bloody hurt though xx

Thanks ladies

It's amazing how I panic over every twinge - pre-pregnancy I wouldn't have given it another thought probably!
