I can't remember feeling this tired this late on with my first pregnancy - at the moment I can just about cope with life if I have 12 hours sleep at night and an hour nap in the day - otherwise the hideous morning sickness comes back and I puke everything up

I thought the bone-aching tiredness was supposed to go at 12 weeks? Please tell me it gets better!

(last few blood tests show def NOT anaemic so no hope there!)

Hi Im 16 weeks this tuesday. I dont feel quite as totally jetlagged as I did a few weeks ago but still pretty tired none the less. It tends to hit me early evening. Ive had waves of nausea but you sound like you've been really unlucky with that. Did you have it first time round. This will be my third child so I think Im just going to be knackered a lot of the time anyway!!
It will get better, it has got better. The nausea needs to go doesnt it - cos you sleep to avoid it and its making you feel totally lousy.
Hope you feel better soon!!

thanks tab - I have utter admiration for anyone who goes through more than two pregnancies - this is definitely the last for me - I am hating every moment so far!

I did have MS first time around but nowhere as bad as this - ended up on tablets this time - also have toddler to look after now, job to go to and disabled husband who can't help out much - last time husband was well so was ok just to give in all the time!

Hi moominsmummy, i am due in May too, struggling with the sickness. I have Cyclizine tablets but they make my tiredness unbearable, and I am sleeping tons anyway like you! So I haven't been in work for weeks and I am so fed up I am going to try acupuncture - am going to ring this morning after I get DS up and out to school. Lots of ppl say it works! I didn't have any sickness with DS, 12 years ago! I feel for you xxx
