Hey everyone, I was hoping I might be able to find someone who has been through what I'm going through. I'm currently 16+2 weeks with my second baby. Since 10 weeks I've been bleeding on and off with brown sort of lumpy discharge or clots. I've talked to my midwife and nurses at the hospital via the phone and they have all told me not to worry. It stops and starts randomly, no cramping or anything but I cant help but worry. Has anyone else been through this? Need some reassurance x

Not quite the same as you but at 15 weeks I had a bleed (fresh red blood) and then had brown discharge for the next week or so. You might just have a sensitive cervix which is having small bleeds every now and again causing the brown discharge.

They only really get concerned if you're bleeding through a pad in 1 hour and have painful cramps!

I don’t have any experience but didn’t want to read and run and wanted to say if they aren’t worried then that’s good but for your own reassurance I would be asking for a scan, I’ve had 3 babies and sometimes feel if the baby is not past 24weeks they aren’t as “urgent” about things but I still think they should be for women’s peace of mind, sometimes you have to push for things though xx
