Bladder prolapse fear!!!

Initially posted in childbirth, but it seems quiet over there! Slightly panicking at the moment as I think I might have a bladder prolapse, or at least something is bulging right at the entrance of vagina, not protruding out though. Sorry tmi, it's soft and I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before! What can I do? Does it ever sort of, retract back into place? Plz help

Have you just had a baby?

After your 8 week check, try and book a women's health physio appt. Will give you some advice great exercises to try. It can be made alot better. Avoid heavy lifting and bouncy exercise

If you can, push it back up gently. Do your pelvic floor exercises using the Squeezy app and book in to see a woman's health physio.
In the meantime wearing a thick pad down below may help with the dragging sensation and give you a bit of support. Pull up your pelvic floor before coughing or sneezing.

Which hole is it actually coming out of?

Your bladder shouldn't be protruding out of your vagina. If something is bulging out of your vagina it's probably a uterine prolapse. If it's coming out of your urethra then it may be your bladder.

It is most likely a uterine prolapse which can be sorted with physio. In the meantime, poke it back up there and get booked in with a physio. In very, very severe cases it needs surgery but most cases pop back with some exercises and you just avoid trampolines in public.

It can be a bladder prolapse. I have a rectocele which pops out when straining tmi 🤦🏼‍♀️. Lots of kegals there is Nhs app too. You can always get referred to physio who can tell you what exercises and if your doing them properly. It's really scary at first but your only 6 weeks pp. so I'm sure it will all go back.
No heavy lifting either for a while. X
