When should I feel movement?

I am 19 weeks pregnant today and I am not sure I can feel the baby move yet I do have a high bmi. I have a two year old but with him I had an anterior placenta so felt him much later.
I lost twins last July at 16 wks, it was an MMC so I think I just don't trust myself with regards to what's movement and what's not.
I am just worried that baby is not ok (I have no reason to think this I think it's just past experience).
Loss takes the innocence out of pregnancy. When did you regularly/definitely feel your 2nd baby move?

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Congratulations on this pregnancy.

I think movement starts around 18 weeks ish and after so I don't think its unreasonable you have not felt definite movement yet. Its usually tiny little flutters occasionally to start, and I didn't feel mine everyday. I had 2 highly anxious pregnancies, so I understand how you feel at the moment. A bit later on obviously the movements do become more regular and obvious as you know.

Are you due a 20week scan soon? Could you give your midwife a call to ask if she will see you for a check, explain how anxious you are feeling about movement.

Good luck with everything Flowers.

Previous loss defo takes the joy out of current pregnancy.
Congratulations on your new baby.
I can’t talk for a second child but my first was an anterior placenta also so was later than expected. If your worried or want to ease your mind ring your maternity assessment unit at the hospital they’ll be more than happy to see you.
Do you feel bubbles in your belly? I noticed these first and turns out that was movements.

I didn't feel my baby move until 21 weeks and even then, I wasn't entirely convinced!

Try not to worry - it's normal not to feel before 24 weeks x

I’m 19 weeks too and don’t think I’ve felt baby move. I swear it was much earlier with my last baby. I hope it will be soon. Also for you x

Aw 💐 so sorry about your loss, that’s devastating. Hope you’re okay.

Third pregnancy and haven’t felt anything yet, currently at 16 weeks.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Doctors think the twins passed because the placenta didn't attach properly and as they grew it couldn't sustain them. I was bleeding for weeks which has not happened at all this time, so I know the reason they died is not a reason now but it's still so hard. I have just been stripping wallpaper to take my mind off it all! Xx
