Braxton hicks 21weeks ?

I know braxton hicks are normal but can they happen this early ?! Today I've had more than I've had in the last few weeks but no regularity and don't feel like the real deal so don't think it's anything to worry too much about. A full bladder sets it off more. Hurts to turn in bed when it's happening but that's it just uncomfortable unless I'm still. Baby moving fine (breech at the mo)

Anyone else had them this early? Anything they found to help? Hoping I won't be giving birth anytime soon anyway!!

Baby no 2 😃

I tend to get them from even earlier than that! (Noticeable around 13 weeks). I'm 35 weeks now and my BH are still going strong! I have fast labours though, I think my uterus just likes to work out hard and perform rapid evictions. If they start to worry you, do reach out to your midwife. They'd rather be contacted than not if you have concerns.

@Gemmaemilyx apparently I was having them during my 20 week scan but I had no clue, so no idea how early they started for me. I saw the midwife and the consultant after the scan and nobody seemed concerned about them happening that early x

In my first pregnancy I started getting them regularly much earlier than that but I can't remember the exact week. By the end of the second trimester I'd get them just by standing up or walking uphill!

Thanks for your replies! Today I've hardly had any- think yesterday was one of those days 😅 xx
