Hi,

I am 7 weeks pregnant went for an early scan yesterday and it was wonderful. I am slightly concerned as I thought I was 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant however I was measuring 7 weeks and 1 day. Whilst this is only a matter of days I’m not too concerned but when I add up dates of positive ovulation test and conception (knowing sperm can last for 5 days) it doesn’t make sense. I know I’m probably worrying over nothing but I do find it concerning. If anyone has had the same experiences please let me know or if you have any advice! I’m finding early pregnancy very lonely! Thank you

I really wouldn’t think anymore into it. They’re measuring in mm, and even the slightest change in baby’s position could mean the measurement being slightly out. And a mm difference is a whole days difference!

I was dated officially a week ahead, yet that would put me pregnant before I even ovulated as I was using OvuSense to track my ovulation. I got my positive test at 8dpo which was early enough, but the dates baby is measuring at mean I was pregnant before my ovulation date!

I’m not worried though, baby is looking healthy and has been growing on track up to now (currently 16+3).

Congrats!!
