I’m 33 and not currently TTC. Other half had a vasectomy about 10 years ago in a previous relationship so contraception has not been an issue currently. We have been together a few years and my cycles are always 28 days like clockwork.
This month, my period has been a no show and I am currently on cycle day 42! I’ve had cramping, sickness and backache but no period or even any spotting. I know I ovulated as I had the familiar pins during my ovulation days which would reflect my usual 28 day cycle. No new medication, unusual amount of stress or any other reason I can think of as to why my period has not arrived.
I took a clearblue pregnancy test on cycle day 34 and a cheap hcg strip one on Day 39 (all negative)
Am very baffled and confused as to what might be happening and giving myself until next week before I contact my doctor but just wondering If anyone had been through anything similar? Any advice or similar experiences would be much appreciated!
