Prolapse while pregnant

I am pregnant with my 8th baby. My last baby is 14 months old and I noticed when I went in to have him every time I had to have an internal (I was induced so lots of being messed about with) the midwives/doctors looked a bit shocked and a few commented that it looked like there was a lot of pressure down there.

Anyway after birth I downloaded the Squeezy app, did my Megan’s as best as I could and it got very slightly better. I never saw anyone about it but it felt different down there. As I said I’m now pregnant again, 25 weeks and I feel like it’s getting worse.

At the end of the day if I am lying there I can feel what I think is a rectocele, it’s not outside of me yet but it’s near the entrance, if that makes sense.

Is this something I need to tell the midwife about? Will it affect the birth?

I have young children who need looking after, carrying, a big house to run and I also run a very busy business (not from home) so I know I should probably be taking it easy but I dont see how I can.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes you should definitely tell your midwife or speak to your gp.
I'm not sure how it could affect the birth but if you feel different anywhere on/in your body then it's always best to get it checked out.

Anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks @Youmakemyheartgogiddyup

I'd speak to your GP, it will probably have to be them to examine you and make any hospital referrals you may need. For example you may benefit from referral to a pelvic floor physiotherapist.
