Hello,

In December I had a missed miscarriage but the reason I went for an early scan was I felt like something wasn’t right I didn’t feel sick etc and in previous pregnancies I had been. I am now pregnant again and 5 weeks + 6 days but still don’t feel anything. Is this normal? I’m really worrying.

With my successful pregnancy last year I didn't have symptoms for a long time. With my chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage two months ago I felt sick early on.

Don't worry.

Very normal. With my eldest I didn’t have symptoms until I was around 7 or 8 weeks.
I think the TTC boards seem to make women believe they should be having symptoms very early on (even as early as 1dpo!!) but that’s just not realistic at all! I don’t know anyone IRL who had symptoms before 6+ weeks

I didn't have any symptoms the entire 9 months ....literally nothing..... I had twins

Thank you all so much for your responses. I’ve been feeling really nervous and your messages have made me feel a lot better.

With my pregnancy I had sickness from about weeks 8-14 and then it just disappeared. Everyone’s different and I know your past experience will be making you worry but it doesn’t mean anything! Try and stay positive ♥️

Yes, I felt nothing at all until around 9 weeks with my first and 7 with my second.

This is my fifth pregnancy and I felt nothing at all for a few weeks, which was the exact opposite of the first four. With the others I had symptoms right from the word go and knew very early (when they say it's impossible to tell/before implantation...what can I say, I just knew, it's like you know when you're getting a cold.) With this one, I didn't even test until I was already late because I felt there was no chance - and had an early scan at 5/6 weeks to make sure because I still didn't feel anything.

So it's definitely possible!

I’ve had a missed miscarriage as well and I understand it’s more of a concern to suddenly stop having symptoms than to never really have any at all.
