12 week screening late?

I’ve just got my first scan/screening appointment that falls exactly on when I am 14 weeks but I’ve just read something that says that the screening tests need to happen no later than 13w6d so now I’m worried that the date could be too late. Has anyone else had a screening this late?

Give the hospital a call and tell them and they should rearrange.

Mine was also arranged for bang on 14 weeks. I called to try to rearrange but was told 14+1 was the cut off and they couldn’t move it.

As it turned out it didn’t really matter to me as I’d already decided to skip the nhs combined screening and had a private nipt and scan at 13+4 where they got the nt measurement and took blood. So the ‘12 week’ scan for me was just to officially date the pregnancy. Which did end up being bang on 14 weeks.

If you are wanting the combined screening though I would try to shift it earlier. There’s always a chance you could be measuring ahead and actually end up being 14+4 or something by the time of the scan which would then be too late!!!

Thank you for your replies. My husband thinks I’m being a bit dramatic and says they know what they’re doing. But I’d just rather not risk anything that means I can’t have the tests. We have a private scan tomorrow so I guess if I’m dated early then I can push for an earlier date
