Anyone else counting down to scan day?

My scan is on Friday 23rd April and it feels so far away! Is anyone else counting down to an upcoming scan? Let's wait together x

Me! My 20 week scan is 14th April and it's felt like such a long and stressful journey from my 12 week scan, can't come quick enough!!

@Merrz I'm sure time goes slower when you're pregnant haha. Is it your first? Do you know what your having? Xx

Mine is 19th April and I feel like I've been waiting forever!!

@Thistimelastyear ahh that's the same week as mine. Hopefully that week will come round quickly for us xx

This is my 2nd, strangely this pregnancy seems to feel longer and more stressful than 1st time around. No don't know what i'm having. How far on are you?

I have a scan on the 23rd aswell! It's an early private one though as I'm too impatient to wait until 12 weeks

My scan is on the 19th! Early private also don't want to wait until 12 week scan had 2 losses previous so just need abit of reassurance.

@Janxyb oooh we're on the same day! How many weeks do you think you'll be?

@Needingsupportplease that's the same week as me! Hopefully it'll pass quickly for us all!

Does anyone have any tips of what they're doing to pass the time? I just feel like the next two and a half weeks is going to drag!

@Merrz it's my second too! My son is 18 months and I'm currently 10.5 weeks I think.

Sometimes I think it's going quicker cause I'm kept busy by my son but then other times it seems like it's going to slowly because I'm so exhausted. No such thing as rest at the moment haha!

Also my second have a daughter whos 2 next month I'm only 6+2 weeks so scan will be when I'm 8. Tried to ring drs today to get sorted with midwife but no success! Feel abit groggy today. No idea how to make time go quicker would love that! Maybe i should of booked an earlier scan but just thought things would be alot clearer at 8 weeks good or bad 🤞

@missrose0110 hopefully just over 8 weeks 🤞 this is my second and I waited for my 12 week scan last time so I'm not sure why I'm so impatient/anxious this time!

yes! my 20 week scan is same day!! it's really dragging :( got proper nerves, although trying to stay calm as heard HB at 16wk appt and had a private scan and all was ok. still hard isnt it! i found once got into the last week the days went quicker, but really feel am wishing the weeks away now!!!

@Needingsupportplease yes from what I've read at 8 weeks you can see a lot more at the scan! That's probably a good time to go.

@Janxyb not long now, on the 2 week countdown! Hopefully it goes fast for us 🤞

@leftitlate37 only 2 weeks to wait. Do you know what you're having? Are you going to find out? So exciting! Yes I'm wishing the weeks away too. At least after the weekend we can say "next week"

Wooop! Definitely glad 2 weeks :) as u say come Monday itll be next week! Yeah we found out its a boy!

@leftitlate37 ahh lovely. I have a little boy who's 18 months old, boys are amazing (I'm sure girls are too, but I don't have any experience there) yes we'll definitely find out, just focusing on the 12 week scan first and hoping everything is okay 🤞

Ah lucky u! Thanks as I have zero experience of either but grew up with a sister and tend to get what little girls like or want but feel clueless with boys ;)

@leftitlate37 I felt so nervous about having a boy because I've grown up in a family of girls, I didn't know what little boys like and worried a lot about it. I feel silly saying that now 😂

Definitely the first hurdle and it's hard because nobody knows. I've not been too bad, just tired and sore breasts x

I'm trying not to stress.. she says haha. 8 days to go for me. Would like a boy as have a daughter already but will take either and be very happy and grateful! X

Yep me too! First baby, my 8 week scan is April 29th! Been counting down for what feels like ages!

Had an ectopic last month now I’m pregnant again. Needless to say I’m on pins and needles until Tuesday 20th. To rule out ectopic at the very least. I’m completely mortified every time I feel a pang of pain anywhere near my pelvis. Honestly still can’t believe I’m pregnant. How old would it be anyway!? With no LMP, I’d be counting back to my post rupture bleed which would be on the 8th of March.

@Amoh I'm sorry to hear about your ectopic, I hope your scan on Tuesday goes well, it's not too far away now Tuesday, hope time goes quickly for you! X

So kind of you to say. Yeah now that I think of it 3 days is nothing compared to 9 months!

Sorry about you're ectopic that must be so scary! @amoh my scan is tomorrow! So scared about it just want to know if baby is in the right place and growing as it should be.. even then I'll still worry as my last baby was fine at 9 weeks but passed by 13! X

Had my scan today and baby looks perfect so far fingers crossed! There was 2 sacs but one only measured 6 weeks, so could of been twins to start with which is abit sad. But very grateful for one healthy baby 🤞 now the wait until my 12 week scan!
