Nightwear after a c section

It's DC3, all born by section, so you'd think I'd know what I was doing by now.
I'm having a c section in the summer and I can't remember what I wore after the last 2. Is button down/strappy nighties better or short PJ set.
I have a horrible vision of standing up for the first time in a nightie after DC2 and leaving a pool of blood on the floor - mortifying. But I can't remember quite how problematic bottoms is with the wound area.

I've not tried the big absorbent Knickers before, usually just pants up to the belly button with a maternity pad like a slipper. Are the other type of pants better?

Any other c section tips?

Yoga pants and vest top

I still had a catheter in the first night so couldn't have worn shorts, and it was boiling on the ward so nothing with long sleeves!

Big pants, nightie.

Not had a section but I had spinal and catheter and I loved my massive shirt nighty! They could come and inspect/remove catheter without any drama. I also wore the always nappies instead of pads. Zero leakage and my lord it was heavy.

Big pants and loose cotton nightie. Didn't want the hassle of trying to bend or contort myself to put on bottoms.

Also due my third section In the summer !

Always nightie as bending is difficult. Big maternity pads and huge knickers to keep everything contained

I had Asos pj shorts sets one or 2 sizes up. They were fab. I think for the first night I just wore a hospital gown.

Maternity nightie from Asda and one size up super soft full giant pants from Sainsbury's. Couldn't wear pants the first night anyway due to the catheter. I just threw a baggy t short on over the nightie most of the time to cover up a bit more, particularly when I went to the loo once I was up and about. (I also had the compression socks on and flips flops, and obviously didn't give a flying fuck what I looked like Grin)

Maternity shorts PJs were good once I got home because the high waist band was great at being well away from the wound.

I just had my maternity nighties and big pants. Only one leak but it wasn't really my fault. They forgot about me and it was a few extra hours before they took out my catheter and I was able to get up for a shower. Lying down for so long had obviously let the blood pool and it was inevitable really.

Just had my section and wore big pants (next full briefs) and a button down nightie. I had some disposable pants for the first few hours with the catheter in which were easier to change after a leak. Just maternity ones where you still need wear a pad, not the ones intended for urine.
Don't worry about blood, they put a huge pad down for you and have seen it a million times!
