Can girly nubs change into boys?

I’m pregnant with my first baby and I’m keeping the gender a surprise for birth. But I feel like I can tell baby is a girl which has made me feel like I ruined the “surprise” I always wanted (I’m very happy with boy or girl) the nub on my 12 week scan looks very short and straight, and at my 20 week scan there was no obvious boy bits which is all making me think baby is definitely a girl! Could I be wrong? Has anyone else thought they were having a girl and it’s turned out to be a boy? I need a little bit of uncertainty in my mind😂! Due august 😊

I know someone who' was told girl at their 20 week scan...pink bedroom clothes etc and of course out popped a baby boy.
Also I was told girl due to my 12 week nub scan but at 20 weeks the sonographer checked and it was a little boy (and since born a boy lol) so I think there's nothing saying for sure it is a girl right now but it's always 50/50

I was told a dd at 20, 24 and 32 weeks.
A very well endowed ds arrived. Not sure how the hell they missed that! The family is he was pulled out by his handle!! Helped him over the ha ha you were a girl jokes!

Nub is not 100% accurate.

If you told them you didn't want to know the sex then they normally don't show you the potty shot?

My first I was told at my 20 week scan I was having a girl, I then had growth scans at 28 and 32 weeks, both said yes, girl. Went for my 36 week growth scan and the sonographer said "Didn't you say girl? This certainly looks like a boy to me"
I now have an 8 year old boy 😂

Even the experts can’t tell at 12 weeks which is why they don’t tell you until 20. And you can’t tell on the 20 week scan unless they’ve printed you off the ‘potty shot.’ There’s really no way of being sure either way, unless you’re a trained sonographer.

I disagree I think the nub is pretty accurate. Did you see the nub at your 12 week scan? A girly nub can rise depending on when the scan was.
