My hind waters are leaking only small amounts every couple of days but I’m only 23 weeks. Has anyone had this and what was there outcome/treatment.
Thanks in advance, very anxious.

Have they not explained what they'll do for you?

They'll keep a close eye on you I think and possibly give you steroid injections for baby as it highers your risk quite a bit of giving birth prematurely. Also high risk of infections

I had this at 24 weeks, I was given steroid I injections and weekly check ups with the consultant, I also had a weak cervix, so was given progesterone pessaries to help the cervix and at 32 weeks was signed off for the rest of the pregnancy and ordered to rest as cervix was very soft by that point and baby engaged, I went to 40+5 in the end :) hope all goes ok for you

@SnooperTrooper12345 thank you yes I’m on antibiotics and steroids to help baby but wanting to hear other people’s experiences.

@annlee3817 @Meemar45 do you mind if I ask how you knew it was your hind waters? I often have damp patches in my underwear, but from speaking to other women on here seems it’s normal and is just watery discharge x

I was already under the consultant for being at risk of pre term labour and having scans on my cervix, I sat at work one day and felt a gush, my underwear and jeans were wet. The scan showed pools of water that he said was a slow leak from my hind waters

@annlee3817 so glad things have worked out for you. I’m under consultant care too having scans for my cervix length x
