When did I get pregnant?

Hi all, please be kind - I know this is a bad situation to be in and I’m stressing myself out so much.

I’m currently pregnant and I’m 90% sure that I know who the father is. I had sex on my ovulation week so I’m pretty sure that’s when I got pregnant.

I had sex with my ex 2 weeks later (3 days before my period was due) and 5 days later took a pregnancy test that was positive.

My question is, is there any possibility that the father could be the ex? It was a really stupid mistake but I just don’t know what to do :(

I have been on and off my pill (due to some complications) which is how this has ended up happening.

There is always a possibility.

You need to be honest with both of the men involved.

Very unlikely to be the ex, the first week or two after falling pregnant you don’t produce the hormone for a positive pregnancy test.

But yes there is a slim chance

There's a very small chance but highly unlikely

I think sex with your ex and then 5 days later getting a positive test means its very unlikely to be him. Implantation normally takes between 6 and 12 days and then the hcg will rise to give the positive test

Thank you everyone ❤️ The midwife has pretty much said the same. Hopefully the scan will be able to tell me exactly how far gone I am. I get an early one due to a previous ectopic pregnancy. So let’s hope that the 2 weeks difference is enough
