Confused and worried about possible ectopic/molar pregnancy

So in Feb I had a miscarriage, it all passed naturally. I had a negative test and scan two weeks later to confirm that.

I started checking my LH levels and monitoring BBT and to my surprise managed to conceive again immediately.

However the tests were very faint and didn't seem to be getting any darker at all. So I wasn't surprised when my period started 4 days later. I assumed this was a chemical pregnancy.

I had a totally normal period for 6 days, it was slightly heavier and more painful than usual, but not enough to be concerning.

Today I decided to check my LH Levels to prepare for tracking ovulation and it was way too high for this point in my cycle.

So I did an HCG test, which was positive. Very positive. And it wasn't even FMU, I tested in the afternoon. But there was a proper dark line, way darker than when I tested a 10 days ago before the bleeding started.

I'm not currently having any pain, discomfort or bleeding. I'm not really having any pregnancy symptoms either. Although I did notice my boobs seemed bigger than usual.

I would be around 6 weeks now.

I'm so shocked and anxious about this. And it has to happen over the bank holiday weekend when I can't even speak to my GP.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I can't help but feel that it can't be a normal pregnancy and something is going to be wrong.

That being said I haven't had any symptoms relating to molar or ectopic pregnancy. Other than bleeding which has now stopped.

My Sister had this. She presumed she had a miscarriage which was partially true. However, she was actually pregnant with twins which she didn't know and turns out she miscarried 1 and the other continued.
She didn't find out until she missed her next period, took a test and it was super positive, went for what she thought was an early scan, presuming she fell pregnant straight after the miscarriage and she was 4 weeks ahead of what she thought.
Doctors confirmed she'd lost a twin.

@SnooperTrooper12345 Thanks for that positive story. The thought of miscarrying a twin did occur to me. I guess I'm just afraid of getting my hopes up. Fingers crossed it's something like this rather than more bad news. 🤞

@littlelionroars similar to what's going on with me.

Went for my early scan last Tuesday but they couldn't see anything apart from my womb lining being a really good thickness.

They did a repeat HCG on Wednesday which showed my HCG levels had more that doubled which was great (from 301 - 800 in 2 days)

That same day I started bleeding and haven't stopped all now. Been to a&e twice and they didn't even bother to check the blood or examine me.

Today I woke up in a moderate pain predominantly on the left side of my lower abdomen. Still not seen any clots or tissue come out with the blood but I'm absolutely terrified.

I've been infertile for 10 years and was told I'd have to have ivf so this is our miracle baby. I'm so scared to miscarry 😭

@keani So sorry to hear about what you are going through. Especially since you have been trying for so long.

Atleast your HCG levels and lining are good. Hopefully your little miracle hangs in there.

Let me know how you get on.

@SnooperTrooper12345 how much did your sister bleed? I ask because I've been bleeding since Wednesday, not enough to soak a pad but it's very bright and drips into the toilet as soon as I sit down. I've had no clots and only started having this pain today

It was like a full on period.
She had clots and stuff too along with cramping

@SnooperTrooper12345 oh wow. See I've heard of this experience with a friend of mine.

I know it sounds a bit bad and of course I would be heart broken with any loss but I think like most woman I'd find comfort if It was twins and at least one survived.

How are you doing @SnooperTrooper12345?

I booked a private scan for this afternoon, so atleast I will know more by lunch time.
