Hi everyone. I'm currently in hospital being induced I've now had 3 lots of gels now and 3 sweeps but nothing and will be having my final one tonight.
I'm really praying it works tonight. When I came in they said "he's has high as the gods" but when they checked me yesterday I'm 2cm dilated now and cervix fully thinned.
Has everyone else had to have the 4th gel and it work? I'm just abit dis hearted that 3 havnt worked

You need to be 2-3cm and they will then attempt to break your waters. It's a good sign that you're 2cm now 😊

You say they haven't worked, but they have.
The idea of the pessaries and gels aren't to send you into labour.
It's to get your cervix softened ect and dilated enough to break your waters

As PP said, they have worked.
The use of them isn't to send you into labour. It's to prepare your cervix and it's definitely worked.
