Early pregnancy test 6 days late

Hello ladies, I am six days late on my period and took two first response early pregnancy test (sensitivity 6) which both showed a medium (not dark) positive result. The next day I took two cheapo tests (sensitivity 25) and these are both negative. Looks like a slight evap line showed up after the results window. Am I likely to be pregnant? Have had slightly sore boobs off and on but not much else. Blood test Tuesday but wondered about your experiences? I've read pregnancy test should show up even on the cheapos a few days after your period is due. Thanks xx

I've got the same! I'm 8 days late now, first response say positive, last week I got positive CB 1-2weeks, I've tried testing with cheapie and CB normal tests and only getting super faint positives. I know I shouldnt keep testing but I'm just so worried that that less sensitive (25) arent picking up a strong line even though I'm over a week late now?! I feel so anxious as this is my first pregnancy after MONTHS if trying 😔 X

Forgot to add, I've still got slightly sore boobs, on and off cramps tiredness but no other symptoms. Let me know how your blood test goes - how did you arrange to get bloods done, I really want my bloods taken to look at what the hcg levels are and if it's even viable? X

It's so stressful isn't it! If your getting a faint line on the 25 ones I'd say that's good, mine are barely visible to the eye but the first response ones are definitely there. I've read hcg can vary massively between women and even pregnancies. You can get a blood test via your gp. Yep, il post the result. I've decided to try and forget about it and try and enjoy what's left of the weekend. If it's not this time it's still a positive sign! We are doing ivf and the doctor told me I only had just over a 1 % chance due to low ovarian reserve of getting pregnant and this has happened in-between rounds so I'm seeing it as a bonus chance. I hope your OK and keep me posted. Yeah I think the more days go by then the chances are it should show up on the cheapie tests, I worry it's a chemical pregnancy or dodgy first response tests, there are a few bad results about false positives on amazon where I got them. Fingers crossed 🍀

If you've had positives on a couple of rests, I'd say yes you are pregnant

I've had two positives on first response early test and two negatives on the cheapo 25 sensitivity sticks. Surely it would show up on both six days after missed period?

@goonbear I'm really sorry to say Ive started bleeding heavily. I'm counting myself out now. I really hope you have better luck than me. Wishing you all the best 💕

You could have ovulated later than you thought. In which case, it would make sense for an FRER to show up and not a cheap one.

Wait a few days and maybe try again with fmu.

Once late for af most tests should show a positive. All you can do is wait and see if tests go either way in a few days or if af turns up.
The only times I've had faint positives followed days later by negative tests they were chemical pregnancies, af would turn up 1-2wk later than due.

Just seen some spotting so looks like it was a chemical or dodgy first response tests, maybe fakes from amazon. Oh well and sorry to hear that Mrs Mujik xx At least if it was a chemical then I might have better test results than the clinic think.

Not fake first response after all as clear blue showing up a line this morning, so just very low hcg present.

@Goonbear sounds promising, I hope your lines get darker. I got a faint line on clear blue test then started bleeding in the afternoon but kind of expected it as the 25 tests weren't getting any darker and at a week late I thought they should be showing pretty good. Wishing you all the best, let me know how you get on. It would be good to hear a positive story of slow rising hcg that picks up but just takes time 😊 X

Ahh thanks for your message! No bad news I'm afraid. I started my period. I got my bloods done anyway at the request of the nurses at the acu clinic and it was a reading of 8. Need to go back to check it's falling but I'm pretty sure it is. Yes by a week late the 25 strip should be dark. Nurses said it would have been a chemical pregnancy. I'm trying not to be angry at myself as I took the vaccine and hoping the fever I got with it hasn't caused the very early miscarriage. I took a test on the day of my vaccine to confirm I wasn't pregnant but I'd obviously tested too early! Id also been told by the doctor I couldnt conceive naturally. What are the chances of this happening! I'm so disappointed and in shock, hubby upset too but doesn't want to talk about it. I hope your OK. Looking forward to my next ivf round. Sending you hugs xx 🙏
