Front sleeper needs recommendations!

Hello! I’m 16 weeks pregnant and now starting to find it uncomfortable sleeping on my front and will need to avoid it anyway, but I’m having trouble getting comfortable enough to sleep any other way!

I’ve looked up pregnancy pillows and there are a couple of variations. Can any front sleepers recommend me a pregnancy pillow that worked for them?

I’ve also seen something called a ‘holo’ which looks like a lilo, has anyone used this in a bed with maybe a sheet to cover it? Was it uncomfortable?

Thanks 😊

I've always been a front sleeper but now I sleep as far on my front as I can.
It's mostly on my side but I turn my bump into the mattress and sleep like that

I’m the same! 12 weeks and already on my side but I miss sleeping on my front so much!!

I have seen those holo things and they do look good but I worry there’s not enough info on front sleeping.

In the end I bought a C shape pregnancy pillow off Amazon as I think it’ll make me feel more secure to have behind me when I’m on my side... will let you know how it is!

So far I hat side sleeping! X

I’m normally a front sleeper and now at 32 weeks it’s obviously impossible! I lie on my side and try and tip my upper body forward but honestly it’s not that comfortable.
I have got a massive pregnancy pillow but I found it too big and I prefer just using an extra regular pillow either between my legs or to prop my upper body up (I’ve been getting sore ribs and this helps).
Unfortunately you have to resign yourself to a few months of having a shit nights sleep. When people say to get as much sleep as you can before baby comes, it’s all lies 😂

@Cafeaulait27 that’s a good point on the research. I can’t decide if support to my front or behind me will make things easier.

@Nat4392 to be honest I think you’re right and I’ll just have to resign myself to it 😅

I’ve been looking at options and think the dreamgenii is the one for us to try. Wish me luck

Used the dreamgeni - for both of my pregnancies . Am also a front sleeper , so completely recommend, as found the pillow really comfy and supportive.

Wishing you all the luck with a pregnancy pillow.

I had a long thin pillow I bought from a baby show. Kicked it out of the bed after a couple of nights. Too uncomfortable, too big, and made me far too hot. In the end I accepted my fate and let my bump prop me up on my side.

It's now my back support cushion in my nursing chair, so I've more then had my money's worth out if it!

Front sleeper and i used a massive U shaped pillow.
So i am kind of on the side belly with a leg propped up hugging the pillow.
Not going to lie, it was hard to adjust to not being able to sleep on my front.
Enjoy it as long as you can 😅
