Breech baby at 20 week scan

Hey, just checking to see if anyone's had this.

Just had 20 week scan for DD and was told she is breech with her feet by her head (looking at pics I'm assuming frank breech).

Never had this before so wondering if it's normal? The tech didn't say anything beyond that. I know baby is still small and there's lots of time to turn. But not sure if it's even something to think about at this stage or just put out of my mind.

There is no reason to be concerned about this at 20 weeks. Most babies don't turn until 32 weeks or later. I wouldn't think about this at all.

Completely normal at 20 weeks, they flip all the time.

Babies move around all the time. The time to be concerned is if you get to 38 weeks and it’s breech.
My dd2 was breech at 30 weeks, turned by 35 weeks then breech again a week later. I was booked in for a section but went into Labour before the date. She wasn’t breech anymore.

Mine eventually turned at almost 38 weeks! Plenty of time yet.

Plenty of time to flip. But my boy didn't and so had to have a CSection. Something to be aware of as I hadn't considered it and when it came to 36 weeks it was a shock to have to change birthing plans and sort my expectations out.

Shouldn't be a worry. Midwives are generally concerned about position until 36/38 weeks

I honestly wouldn't worry this early on. My son was breech up until I think about 37 weeks and they said the chances of him turning were slim. Guess who turned just before my scheduled c section? Ended up having a natural birth and wish I never worried xx
