Does anyone elses baby not have a set pattern like some days will move at certain times and some days won't? And have a couple of good days moving around and then more of lazy days were not moving as much? I've been monitored 2ce in 2 months and results came back reassuring and baby has always had days were shes been more more chill bit it just dont stop me from worring especially now the due date is so close.

Thanks in advance for replies

You really need go call and be seen any time there is a change in movement pattern, even if you're up there every day OP. Babies movements shouldn't slow down, even in late pregnancy. It's so, so important to go and be checked.

You still need to get checked.

My baby will have days where she will move as soon as I wake up and then not for hours. Which is normal for her.
But then other mornings won't move when I wake up, but will move a bunch in the time she's normally sleeping.
So I know the movement is the same amount.
Her pattern changes but never the amount of movement.

If they're not moving at a normal time, you need to get checked

Every time I get checked it comes back reassuring that everything is ok so I duno wat to expect one day to the next her movements have been like this from 28weeks till now . I just find it so shite there seems to be not much help when your anxious about movements and responsibilities lay on u only to think hmm should I get checked out .. I got checked out on 24th March and all was fine then maybe il have a cold orange juice and some chocolate seeing that wakes her up.

They may be alright every time but there could be the one time it isn't. They would rather you go in and get checked than sit and wonder

That's good. The kick count is kind of outdated. But if you're reassured then that's the main thing.

Just don't feel like you're bugging them if you do need to go in though ❤️

Lissie1986 · 03/04/2021 12:40

I just feel I keep tellin my midwife about it on appointments and when I get monitored I mention it and they never seem fazed about it and just say it could be her normal pattern... I'm glad I've felt those movements but wen I'm monitored they do a kick count too and they still recommend it u just dont know what to go by anymore do you.

My baby has one very busy day then a quieter day, she always has.
I'm 38 weeks now. If I get worried on the quieter days I usually give my bump
A prod or have something sweet and that gets her moving. If those didn't work
I would go to triage!

Lissie1986 · 03/04/2021 16:42

@bunhead34,

Yes my little one is like that a couple of good active days and a quieter day or sometimes two after and has been like thay since 28weeks that I've noticed. I usually have a bath or ice orange juice and that will get her wiggling for abit I've felt her on and off throughout the day since my bath earlier.. I do feel her move everyday just somedays not as much as her most active days.

Yes this happens but you still need to get checked if movements change
