I've booked a 3d/4d scan for Wednesday and I am SUPER excited I'm going to be 30 weeks and 3 days! What's everyone's opinions on them and does anyone have any 3d/4d scans they could show from around 30 weeks

Mine was 27 weeks.
The doctor who did it said she was not in the right position so not the best shots!

We had a 4d scan with our son and loved it! I currently 18 wks with a little girl and will definitely be booking a 4d scan for her! It was a lovely experience to get a real view of what baby looks like Smile

I’m glad I did it but the pictures aren’t the best - she kept moving about and turning away haha! She’s the same ANYTIME I’ve been for a scan - hated having her picture taken lol.

I actually had one yesterday and it was amazing! I'm 31 +2 which she said was a little on the later side but we got some lovely pics xx

We had one and absolutely hated it. I found it very distressing, I couldn't shake that the images looked like photos of stillborn babies and it exacerbated my already sky high anxiety. Not only that, but her face was squished right against my placenta so she looked exceptionally ugly and I spent a long time really panicked that she would be ugly!!!
Hopefully you will have a lot more success than we did and it is good to look at examples to know what to expect! Xx

27+5 with an anterior placenta.

Could not believe how lucky we were to get these images! An amazing experience

Here's mine at nearly 26 weeks. Would definitely recommend the scans. I'm obsessed with looking at this photo now and imaging what he might look like when he arrives ❤️
