Unclear test result

I tested a few days with a first response but I’ve read a lot of conflicting opinions they give false positives. It’s makes me believe that the results I’ve got are not real but maybe indent marks. Love to hear everyone’s opinion on this

Is the line pink and visible without having to hold the test up to the light/shine a torch at it/squint and hold it 3cm away from your face? If so, and it came up in the time, it's probably a positive. Indents are the shadowy bit where the test line would be so can catch your eye but actually there is no clear line. An evap shows up once the test has dried and tends to be grey, although I have read about coloured evaps. I always like to confirm with a different brand anyway - digital ones are good as no confusion with those! They are often less sensitive though so wait a few days before taking one.

I've never had an obvious line turn out to be a false positive. I've had faint lines that have gone either way. Once I was 6 days late, took a test and there was a very faint line but came on my period a few days later so assumed a chemical pregnancy. And with my fourth child I tested very early and had a faint line that went on to develop over the next few days into a dark positive.

Thank you for your reply! I can see it without taking to the light or even squinting but it’s just confusing I’ve seen people posting of their looking similar to mine and then they have not been pregnant.

Update! I found out I’m pregnant with a digital clear blue test

I did today and definitely pregnant ☺️
