Just that really. Thinking of a scan next week at 16+2, what's everyone's experiences with accuracy at this stage please or would you recommend waiting until my 20 week scan instead?

Had a private scan at 16w with my DTs (couldn’t stand not knowing!) and it was correct for both of them.

Correct at 12w for both mine.

Found out I was expecting DD2 at my 16w scan and then had it confirmed at my 20w and 34w scans. DD2 is 6mo now so it was definitely accurate.

With DD1, we found out we were having a girl at a scan at 19w and didn’t question it or confirm it. She was indeed a girl though.

I found out via NIPT at 11 weeks I was having a boy. My nhs scan at 13 weeks also showed it quite obviously being a boy- sonographer said they don’t usually say anything as they can get it wrong but as I already knew before them she was happy to confirm the NIPT was indeed correct!

I had a 16 week scan told boy and could clearly see, 20 week confirmed and he was indeed a boy 😊

Scan at 16+2 said girl, 20wk scan confirmed it and now lying cuddling an 8wk old baby girl so was accurate for me.
I had the NIPT for my 1st baby so found out he was a boy at 12wks.
