Short periods after ectopic

Hi everyone
Wondering if anyone can share their experiences to help me... I had an ectopic pregnancy 8 months ago which resulted in emergency surgery and removal of my right tube. My periods restarted about six weeks later and then we started ttc again a month later (this is our first). My periods have returned to a regular 29 or 30 day cycle but I only tend to bleed for one day properly (medium flow), with a day of very light spotting before and a day after. Previously it used to be heavier and last 4-5 days without birth control and 6-7 when I used the copper coil.
We've still not conceived and I'm 37 so am starting to worry that time isn't on my side. Has anyone else experienced similar and should I worry that short periods are a bad sign for fertility? I've read it can mean lack of oestrogen
Thank you for reading! Any thoughts would be appreciated x

Hi no specific advice for you other than why don't you join our TTC after ectopic group on here? We're a lovely supportive bunch. I'm really sorry you find yourself in this position but you might find it helpful to speak to some people who are/have been where you are. It's certainly helped me a lot!

Search for TTC after ectopic part 2 on the conception board. Good luck x
