Cleaning products?

How bad are cleaning products for pregnant ladies? I’m 18 weeks pregnant and more or less cleaned throughout my pregnancy so far, not as much as I did before I became pregnant. I use the fabulosa products like the sprays and disinfectant and I use antibacterial wipes too, if I’m doing a quick clean I won’t wear gloves and a mask but if I’m cleaning for a while I will then. I’ve been thinking now though that are the fumes I’m breathing in harmful for baby and having cleaning products on my hands, I do wash my hands straight after cleaning and open windows but obviously still breathing the fumes in and I do leave the room after I clean that particular room. But I’ve worried myself now I’ve done harm to my baby by not wearing a mask and gloves when I clean every time. Have I done harm? Is there something that isn’t harmful that I can use to clean? Thanks.

I've cleaned as usual throughout all pregnancies, pregnant with number 6 now. Have 5 healthy children already.
If a product recommends gloves and mask then yes you should use but if not it's ott.

I would be extremely surprised you have done any harm to your baby unless you are directly sniffing from the bottle regularly! I am 37 weeks pregnant so I do know how easy it is to worry about everything, but honestly please don't worry. Just be sensible and maybe make sure you have windows open when you're cleaning, which most people do anyway. If you would rather have your mind at rest, I've heard that a lemon, baking soda and vinegar can pretty much clean your entire house. You'll have to search on here for more info as I'm still happily using my Flash and Zoflora for now! Good luck, relax, everything is going to be okay xxx

Thank you everyone, I was thinking about it while I was cleaning without gloves on this morning, I also have eczema on my hands that flares up sometimes so my hands can be dry and cracked and started to worry that maybe the products are getting into my hands and that I’m stupid for not wearing gloves the whole time!
Thank you though, puts my worries mind at ease!! Haha
