yes

Due in 11 days. Not got bad enough to go to hospital but had regular contractions 3 days ago that woke me up in the night, went on for hours and then stopped and nothing since. Had sweep yesterday, doctor said very favourable, should get things going....but nothing has happened at all.

We haven't decided on name as DH and I don't agree on any name for girl or boy, I think baby knows this and is going to wait til we have decided....long old wait then

Yes, I did with my third (and fourth). With my third, I had regular ctx that all but disappeared as soon as the midwives arrived (home birth). We sat up all night with a clock watcher, which isn't conducive to labour). The real thing kicked in around lunchtime the next day, and it was pretty quick (DD born by 2pm).

With my fourth, my false alarm started a week before DD was actually born - regular painful ctx that didn't get any more intense or any closer. After about 18 hours of this, it stopped completely and returned with a vengeance a week later. Then the labour was about 2 hours, with DD appearing on one flimsly push (look! a baby!).

I had 9 weeks (count them!!!) of constant contractions, I had shows that were unbelievable, if you are very bored do a search for my name and labour!! It was quite hilarious in the end.

Sorry to say but I went to 41+ and was induced because of pre-eclampsia....!

Good luck!!!
