Hi everyone. Just looking for some insight if that’s ok. I am 39+1 today just had my midwife appointment and my blood pressure was very high. I have had a bit of history over the last few weeks with this and have been to the PAU for monitoring and it went down. I have been sent back to PAU today for more monitoring.

I have a lot of swelling in my feet and ankles but no other symptoms of pre eclampsia and no protein in urine today. I was just wondering if my bp is still high will they keep me in? Possibility of being induced? So I know what to prepare for.

Thank you in advance x

Hi, I'm 38+4 and have high blood pressure. Was in mau for this reason. 1st time they started me on labetalol 2x a day. Had another episode of very high BP 170/120 and they just upped my dosage to 3x a day. As same as you bloods and urine were clear and no visual disturbances. Just told to monitor at home.

Usually they'll just give you medication if you have no signs in your urine ect of pre eclampsia
